Deputy fired after arrestee said he tried to choke him

A rookie Orange County deputy sheriff was fired effective today after a man said the officer cursed at him and tried to choke him while he was handcuffed.

An internal investigation concluded ex-deputy Jeffrey Iannuzzi used excessive force when he detained BrandynReynolds during an Aug. 25 traffic stop, a sheriff’s report states.

Wow.  This asshole was the arresting officer in several of my Resisting an Officer Without Violence cases.  A lot of my clients told me similar stories that were just too difficult to prove.  Can’t say I didn’t see this coming…
